Geometric Diamonds in Diamonds| Aspen Wood Sterling Silver Earrings

These earrings have a cool diamonds in diamonds geometric pattern. The intersecting lines and shapes make a lattice that is fun and stylish. These are some of our longer earrings, so they definitely make a statement. The design is cut into the wood using a laser cutter.

These extremely lightweight earrings can easily be worn all day. You'll probably forget you're wearing them!   

They are designed and made by hand in the USA with sterling silver ear wires and 100% natural and untreated solid Aspen. The wood is sustainably obtained (scroll down for more info). 

Untreated Aspen wood varies from being almost white to a very pale light yellow, depending on the tree. It's the whitest wood used here at Soot & Cinders. You likely won't see a distinctive grain in it, like you do with woods like Red Oak. As all wood used is solid and natural and not a veneer or particle board, there will be natural variation for each pair of earrings. They are truly one of a kind!

NOTE: Wood can absorb water and warp or swell. Do not wear natural wood earrings in the shower, bath, or swimming pool.

ALSO NOTE: As the items in this shop are made by burning, some items may have a slight smoky smell when they arrive - like the smell you might have on your clothes after being near a campfire. If your items do smell a little smoky when you open your package, please be assured it *will* fade shortly.

Sustainability: The wood comes from a small US family-owned lumber company that obtains wood sustainably. Items are shipped in recyclable and biodegradable packaging. Jewelry is packaged in a brown kraft cotton filled jewelry box secured with a decorative twine bow and shipped in a cardboard box with brown crumpled paper packing material and sealed with paper packing tape. Note for those with cat allergies: These earrings are made in my workshop in my home, and I have two cats. All efforts are made to keep earrings and packing materials free of any allergens, but since the workshop is not physically separate from my home I cannot guarantee that the packaging will be 100% allergen-free.
