These earrings show a stylized flower set in a circle with accents cut through and the flower itself engraved and burnt into the wood using a laser cutter. Each earring is engraved on BOTH sides. These extremely lightweight earrings can easily be worn all day. You'll probably forget you're wearing them!
They are designed and made by hand in the USA with sterling silver ear wires and 100% natural and untreated solid Cherry. The wood is sustainably obtained (scroll down for more info).
Untreated Cherry wood starts out a pale pinkish brown then naturally darkens to a rich reddish brown as it ages. As the wood is solid and natural and not a veneer or particle board, there will be natural variation in tone and grain for each pair of earrings. They are truly one of a kind!

NOTE: Wood can absorb water and warp or swell. Do not wear natural wood earrings in the shower, bath, or swimming pool.
ALSO NOTE: As the items in this shop are made by burning, some items may have a slight smoky smell when they arrive - like the smell you might have on your clothes after being near a campfire. If your items do smell a little smoky when you open your package, please be assured it *will* fade shortly.
Sustainability: The wood comes from a small US family-owned lumber company that obtains wood sustainably. Items are shipped in recyclable and biodegradable packaging. Jewelry is packaged in a brown kraft cotton filled jewelry box secured with a decorative twine bow and shipped in a cardboard box with brown crumpled paper packing material and sealed with paper packing tape. Note for those with cat allergies: These earrings are made in my workshop in my home, and I have two cats. All efforts are made to keep earrings and packing materials free of any allergens, but since the workshop is not physically separate from my home I cannot guarantee that the packaging will be 100% allergen-free.
